A hazy view of Llanstefan from our hill
5 days on the land in Wales, cooking on an open fire, drinking spring water and 2 whole days of solitude save for the buzzards, kites, woodpeckers, badgers, foxes, rabbits, mice etc…

The 2000+ trees that we planted almost 10 years ago are doing well except for the ash which sadly have been affected by dieback.
Some of the 2000+ broadleaved deciduous trees we planted at the top of the hill
Finally I’ve got the time to start blogging properly! I’ll be mainly posting photos of current projects…
Walking through a park in Oxford we were greeted to this lovely swathe of colour as well as red dogwoods and hundreds of crocuses.
Our lovely Rosa who nearly died of canine parvovirus recently. She’s a tough little pup though!
I can’t believe this was what we we’re doing two Christmases ago! So much has happened since then – a complete roller-coaster ride of extreme situations and emotions. But we’re still together and ready for the next chapter. Hopefully it will involve getting back to India. But first, Shetland for this Christmas!!!
Just got back from the Isles of Scilly and a fantastic Christmas break. Relaxing in the few days left of 2010, without doubt one of the harshest years of my life. But as ever, a load of positive stuff happened too. Great holidays, people, food, music, love and laughs. Here’s to 2011 whatever it may bring!
Well! Back into work (albeit on a ‘phased return’ basis) and loving it. Feeling a bit less fatigued than recent weeks but still got a way to go. Just enjoying being involved in ‘normal’ everyday life again. Never thought stress and emotional turmoil could make a person so physically ill. Now I know what true exhaustion is. Looking forward to Christmas more than ever this year…
